Yes, you can install a KALEA lift in a renovated house. The original structure of the house will not be affected during the installation process. Since KALEA home lifts do not require pits and civil construction shafts, they can be installed as long as the floor slabs in your home are able to open, or you have a patio.

No, the pit of KALEA home lifts is only 50 (mm), and it comes with an integrated shaft. You can think of our lift as a household refrigerator, which can be installed as long as you have the required space in your home.

KALEA home lifts are available in 13 sizes to meet the needs of different households. The minimum reserved size is 1000 x 980 (mm), and the available space of the internal platform is 600 x 830 (mm). For more sizes, please refer to the figure below, or contact us directly for a consultation.
The installation time will vary depending on the site environment and the number of installation layers. Under normal circumstances, the installation time is between three to seven days.
Under normal circumstances, a voltage of 220V can meet the installation requirements. KALEA lifts use 2200 watts, however, if there are special circumstances, the engineer will be able to guide you accordingly.
Yes, KALEA lifts are safe. KALEA lifts operate using a screw drive mode, and the speed is limited to 0.15m/s to ensure safe operation. The product complies with EU screw lift standards and has also passed the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC certification.
KALEA’s headquarter is located in Sweden. The core components of the lifts are produced and manufactured in Gävle, Sweden. Other parts are either imported or domestically produced in Sweden.

Kalea home lifts come from a very standardized production line with very little customization. Because every part is standardized, we are able to achieve significant cost savings that we pass on to our consumers! While customization is still possible (e.g. adding glass panels or changing the color) they tend to be expensive as most of our customers do not use them.
The installation time depends on the height of the lift, but generally takes between 3 and 7 days.
KALEA lifts use 2200 watts. It consumes very little electricity when it is being used and even less during standby. KALEA lifts have obtained the A-level energy efficiency certification by Liftinstituut, a professional certification organization for lifts in the Netherlands.
It depends on the frequency of use, however, we suggest a maintenance performance twice a year.
No. Kalea has had its lifts’ sound level tested by Springwell Audio AB, member of the Swedish Acoustical Society, which concluded that sound was limited to the 55 to 70 dB range and from outside the lift, sound levels did not exceed 55 dB. A normal conversation at home is around 50 dB and therefore, Kalea home elevators are not noisy.
Yes. As long as your lift is covered by a maintenance contract, you are guaranteed a 10-year limited warranty on the screw and driver unit.
